Custom made fighting knife. When I bought this years ago from Charlie, he said that this knife was made for some Special Forces folks in Afghanistan and Iraq. Mint with sheath.

This is the large blade version, camo handle and factory black blade with camo cordura sheath. Vintage knife is unused, has a tiny bit of flaking on the edge about 1 millimeter long.

NOT MUCH TO SAY, SUPER, SUPER RARE KEVIN “MAD DOG” MCCLUNG AXE.  KEVIN HAS SEEN PICTURES OF THIS AX AND HAS CONFIRMED THAT THIS IS ONE OF HIS VERY EARLY WORKS.  IT HAS HIS OLD STYLE LOGO THAT I TRIED TO PHOTO, BUT THE MARKING IS VERY SMALL. KEVIN TOLD ME THAT THIS IS PROBABLY ONE OF HIS FIRST 10 HEADS, AND THINKS IT WAS BLUED BY THE PURCHASER.  HE ORIGINALLY SOLD OR GAVE THE HEADS ONLY TO THE CUSTOMER, SO THIS HANDLE HAS BEEN ADDED BY SOMEONE AT SOME TIME (NOT KEVIN). AS I AM GUESSING YOU KNOW, KEVIN’S AXES GO FOR $4000-$7000+ DOLLARS FOR HIS CURRENT WORKS, WHEN/IF YOU CAN GET THEM.  I BELIEVE THAT HE MAKES ONLY A COUPLE A YEAR, AND THOSE ARE AUCTIONED OFF.  THIS AXE DOES NOT APPEAR TO HAVE BEEN USED.  THIS IS A ONCE IN A LIFETIME OPPORTUNITY TO OWN A REAL WORK OF ART.  KEEP IN MIND THAT SHIPPING CHARGES ARE GOING TO BE UP THERE ON THIS, AND I AM GUESSING IT WILL GO OUT UPS, IT IS HEAVY AND IT IS GOING TO BE OVERSIZED.

The sheath is missing the rubber O ring but you can find one. Nice visible Rockwell hardness dot on reverse of blade. One side of the blade has a light oil mark on the blade that you have to hold in the light to see. This is the second nicest one I have ever had, and probably impossible to upgrade judging by what I have seen at the national shows, certainly for this price.
